Guitar Wrist Pain and Guitar Tendonitis Treatments

As a guitarist, are you experiencing pain due to consistent guitar playing? Guitar Tendonitis may occur if you play a guitar professionally or even for leisure purposes. This condition is also alternatively spelled 'tendinitis' and describes it in the following way:

Tendinitis is inflammation or irritation of a tendon - any one of the thick fibrous cords that attaches muscle to bone. The condition causes pain and tenderness just outside a joint. Tendonitis is common among tennis players, golfers, pitchers, swimmers, jumpers, and guitarists. Symptoms may include a dull ache, tenderness, or mild swelling. This is generally caused by repetitive use of the shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, or heels. Most cases can be resolved through natural methods such as rest and stretching. If the pain insists for days, you will want to speak with your doctor or care practitioner.

We are receiving positive feedback from guitarists who have used RistRoller products to treat guitar tendonitis, or simple to prevent it:

“Rist Roller ® is the perfect tool to manage the longevity when I Butcher (work) and Shred (play). It is effective in maintaining wrist health when repetitive motion would normally wear down one's wrists.”
~ Harry F., Florida

"I play acoustic guitar and from time to time I'll be playing and my thumb muscles on my left hand will really start to cramp up and I have to stop. Sometimes mid-song! I've found that using the Rist Roller ® helps prevent this and I'd recommend it to all guitar players for healthier hand muscles and hand circulation."
